Preparing Your Student Athlete for Success!

Teaching Kids Champions Win With Honor
The Terrific Kid Certification Course teaches youth student athletes how to win by being Terrific.  Understanding the influence of sports on those who participate in them as well as those who follow them, we've created our Sportsmanship training to teach, better yet instill in the young athlete that in order for you to be a true winner you must posses great Character, even more so than your prowess and abilities to overcome and defeat your opponent in competition.  So what we have done is we've chosen and tailored a Character Education program specifically for the youth athlete.

Placing our training within a classroom setting is what really makes our program so unique.  The classroom setting gives us the ability to hone the child's focus, removing any distractions, therefore keeping them attentive and solidly on task.  Our program is implemented in four to six, one hour training modules, much more encompassing and in depth than the 15 minute training of this very same program that is given in many public schools in America, creating the ability to for each child to learn much more effectively the Six Pillars of Character; Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship (TRRFCC).  By creating an interactive environment to keep our trainings interesting and fun we use various mediums for learning including videos, handouts, guest speakers, peer interaction and role play.  Our classes will be conducted by experienced youth development individuals who posses that innate ability to capture and maintain the attention of the kids by keeping class interesting therefore creating a greater desire within the kids to learn and maker a bigger impression on their development.

Our purpose is the full development of the youth athlete.  We are committed to shaping and creating an athlete of strength, ability, intelligence, diversity and purpose.  Our aim is to create a perfect balance of player and person.  The mission is of our Sportsmanship training is it to establish and create a mindset within the youth, one of positivity, substance and quality helping each child to build confidence through good character which will make them better on and off the field.

After successfully completing all 4/6 learning modules each participant will receive a Certificate of Excellence acknowledging the fact they now posses the Six Pillars of Character therefore certifying them as a Terrific (TRRFFC) Kid.  We will have a presentation ceremony in which each kid will be presented with their certificate acknowledging their great achievement.

We also have training for trainers. We have programs for training Coaches, Volunteers and Parents because good character and sportsmanship has to be a consistent and resounding effort that must be practiced organization wide from Board members to administrators to parents  and volunteers.

  2. This program is ideal for every parent. Teaching our kids good character amplifies itself as they grow older because they teach others how to have good character as well. The will lead by example and they will teach and share with sincerity. Its a challenge competing for the development of your kids minds and spirits with all the media alternatives that they're exposed to on a daily basis. Television, internet, cell phone, radio, they're bombarded with messages from everywhere, by someone else influencing them with they're message. This is a great tool to help train and teach your kids where having good character is natural, second nature. I've shared this program with over 300 kids and our success stories are just as numerous. Its a must have for every parent, teacher, coach, leader, volunteer and mentor. Give it a try!
